Audiblox One-On-One Kit 
AUDIBLOX is a system of cognitive exercises that develops foundational learning skills. The programme was developed in the 1970s, by Dr. Jan Strydom (MA, HED, DEd), South Africa, and is now available in South Africa, USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. AUDIBLOX - through a series of directional, auditory, spatial and visual exercises, enables children to develop the skills to enhance their ability to distinguish, process and retain information - skills that are required for reading, spelling, writing, and mathematics, and necessary for life-long learning. Some of the most important foundational skills include: Concentration Confidence & Motivation Perception-visual,auditory&sensory Auditory Skills Spatial Awareness Logical Thinking & Sequencing Skills Memory - short & long term, visual & auditory The ability to decode, integrate and classify information Concept of numbers Fine and gross motor co-ordination The AUDIBLOX KIT can be used one-on-one. This application of the Audiblox programme can be used at home and in school. However, it may NOT be used for remunerative purposes. The Audiblox kit contains the following items: The Book The Right to Read: This book is divided into two parts. Part One contains the theory on which the Audiblox programme is based, while Part Two contains details on the Audiblox programme, as well as the most frequently used Audiblox exercises. A Supplementary Manual: This manual contains a few specialised programmes: Dysgraphia/Handwriting programme Spelling programme Maths programme School Readiness programme Programme for High School Learners/Adults Compublox: Compublox is a computer program on CD containing four Audiblox exercises, which can be used to supplement the various Audiblox programmes. It is compatible with Windows XP/2000/ME/98.
